There is a documentary on Netflix called The Social Dilemma. Tech experts that helped create sites/apps such as Facebook, Pinterest, & Instagram, are speaking out on the downside of social media. One of the experts points out that a lot of good things have come from social media and how that was the intent going into the creation of it, but that no one thought about the flip side of that coin.
I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist or anything but this was pretty eye opening to me on how much we are being controlled through the media. Even worse than that is the amount of data being collected about us. And sold. Have you ever said something out loud and then see something about it on your phone, like an ad? It’s not a coincidence.
